Jacqueline Fernandez came to Earth on August 11, 1985 in Bahrain. She grew up in a multiethnic family. His father, Elroy Fernandez, is Sri Lankan Burgher, and his mother, Kim, is of Malaysian and Canadian descent. His father, a musician in Sri Lanka, moved to Bahrain to escape the internal turmoil between Tamils and Sinhalese in the 1980s and later met his mother, a stewardess. After receiving his primary education in Bahrain, she studied mass communication at Sydney University in Australia. After graduation, she made several television shows in Sri Lanka. He attended the Berlitz language school where she learned Spanish and developed French and Arabic.
According to Fernandez, she wanted to be an actress at a young age and dreamed of becoming a Hollywood movie star. Studied at John School of Acting. Despite being a television reporter, she accepted offers in the modeling industry. She was the winner of the Miss Universe Sri Lanka contest in 2006 and represented Sri Lanka at the world Miss Universe 2006 beauty pageant held in Los Angeles.
She auditioned for Sujoy Ghosh’s fantasy movie Aladin (2009) for her debut acting. She played the love interest of the character Riteish Deshmukh based on the character of Princess Jasmine. Although the film was a critical and commercial failure, it won the IIFA First Star of the Year Award – Woman.
In 2010, Fernandez starred in the science fiction romantic comedy Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, opposite Deshmukh. She starred as a girl from Venus who landed on Earth in search of love. The film received bad reviews along with Fernandez’s performance. Mahesh Bhatt’s thriller Murder 2 was Fernandez’s first commercial success and marked a turning point in his career. She took on the role of Priya, a lone model in a confused relationship with Arjun Bhagwat (played by Emraan Hashmi). Fernandez was praised for his performance and for the courage and sexual appeal she displayed in the film.
In 2008, Fernandez started dating Bahrain prince Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa. They separated in 2011. While filming Housefull 2 in 2011, she began a romantic relationship with Director Sajid Khan. This relationship has been featured in the media in India and there has been speculation about an upcoming wedding. However, the relationship ended in May 2013.
