His full name is Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, and he was born on March 13, 1992. Despite his young age, he is one of the most successful Puerto Rican artists. In total, five of his albums ranked number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. In addition to this, his album Aura ranked number seven on Billboard 200 list. Most of the time, he produces songs in reggaeton and trap, however, he also recorded songs in other genres such as moombahton, bachata, and reggae with other artists. Ozuna decided to be a singer when he was 12 years old and he was inspired by bachata, salsa, and reggaeton. He made released his first song in 2012 and it was called Imaginando. This album also ranked number seven on the United States Billboard 200. 2018 was a great year for him, and he increased his international recognition. He collaborated with many successful names in the industry including DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, and Cardi B. He released his third album Nibiru in 2019 and his fourth album ENOC in 2020. Ozuna was born in San Juan and his father is Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. In his childhood, he grew up listening to traditional Latin genres. As a kid, he used to listen to Wisin y Yandel, Don Omar, and Daddy Yankee a lot. Moreover, he also listened to Jay-Z and Usher a lot. Unfortunately, he grew up in a poor neighborhood and his grandmother took care of him. His father was a dancer, who was dancing for Vico C, and he was fatally shot when he was 3 years old. Since her mother could not afford to raise him, he grew up in his grandmother’s home.
