Olivia Culpo was born on May 8, 1992 in Rhode Island, Cranston, USA. He grew up in Cranston’s Edgewood neighborhood. Culpo, St. Mary Academy – went to Bay View and later to Boston University, but did not graduate. He started studying cello in the second grade and played in Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Rhode Island Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble, Bay View Orchestra and Rhode Island All-State Orchestra. After winning the 2012 Miss Rhode Island USA competition in his first competition, he also won the Miss USA competition on June 3, 2012. On July 6, 2012, Cranston city of Rhode Island organized a celebration for Culpo for winning in his competition. At the open-air ceremony held at the Cranston City Hall, Mayor Allan Fung gave Culpo the key to the city.
Culpo represented the United States at the Miss Universe contest held on December 19, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and won the contest. He was the eighth in the United States to win the title and the first representative since 1997. From 2013 to 2015, Culpo released the musician Nick Jonas. He appeared with football player Tim Tebow until November 2015. In the summer of 2019, he started dating football player Christian McCaffrey.
