Freya Allan was born on September 6, 2001 in England. He went to Headington School in Oxford. He continued his artistic education at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, and starred in two short films, Bluebird and The Christmas Tree, as part of his acting studies. He continued to study at the Bournemouth University of the Arts and voiced Linda in the short film Captain Fierce.
Allan played a minor role in the first episode of the 2019 BBC Drama, The War of the Worlds. She appeared in the Netflix original series The Witcher, alongside Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra, as Princess Cirilla (Ciri), a fantasy drama series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and based on Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher book series. He was originally selected for a minor role in the first episode, but was later selected for the main role as Ciri. He lived in Budapest, Hungary, for eight months while the drama was being filmed. It will also star in the second season of The Witcher, filmed in London in early 2020 and released in 2021.
